Our new catalog of poetry chapbooks and fine press editions

Welcome to Red Dragonfly Press

Red Dragonfly Press, a not-for-profit literary organization, publishes contemporary poetry and poetry in translation.

The poet Thomas McGrath spoke of the "lost poets" of his generation, poets such as Don Gordon, Naomi Replansky, and Bert Meyers; Red Dragonfly Press began in an effort to provide a haven for the next generation of lost or overlooked poets, publishing many former students of McGrath, including Dale Jacobson, Robert Edwards, Sid Gershgoren, and Lyle Daggett. The press has expanded its scope over the last decade to include the work of other exemplary poets, expanding and strengthening themes that are rural, environmental, and communal.

Red Dragonfly Press trade editions are distributed by Small Press Distribution.

Letterpress editions -- chapbooks, broadsides, fine press editions -- are distributed, exclusively, by the press.

All titles are available for purchase direct from the Red Dragonfly Press online store, from your nearest independent bookstore, or by using the printable order form on the contact page.

News and event information are also available on our FaceBook page.
