Philip Dacey

Vertebrae Rosaries is Philip Dacey's tenth full-length book of poems. Previous books include The Mystery of Max Schmitt: Poems on the Life and Work of Thomas Eakins (Turning Point Books, 2004) and The New York Postcard Sonnets: A Midwesterner Moves to Manhattan (Rain Mountain Press, 2007). With David Jauss, he co-edited Strong Measures: Contemporary American Poetry in Traditional Forms (HarperCollins, 1986). For thirty-five years a resident of Minnesota and English professor at Southwest Minnesota State University, Marshall, he moved in December, 2004, to Manhattan's Upper West Side.
