Got back from Kansas
City last night and
told my kids I heard
some good jazz and saw
the grave of Charlie
Parker and they gave
me blank stares and my
wife said you always
did like graveyards and
my mother-in-law
said I wonder if
this Parker fellow
is related to
the Parkers I knew
in Janesville and I
stomped off mad to my
study where my cat
gave me a wink and
I said sure sure you
would know all about
anyone named Bird
you sly rascal you.
